I dig your work. I am looking to purchase the most realistic Sax and trumpet sound plugin, any suggestions?
Thank you for your welcoming comment. I'm quite excited to experiment with the loop machine. That's a good idea about keeping drum beats loaded. As you might have read, I've got a Doumbek drum which adds a very different sound. Then, I've got my recorders (from Sopranino to Bass) to include and who knows what I'll create on my Wind Controller (which I just love!). After I put in all of these sounds, I'll use my voice to add the finishing touches. I'll let you know when I complete a piece and have it put on this site. So, thank you for all the encouragement - I really appreciate it. And, I'll be careful! ;o)

Nope... my Lyricon is out of commission, the sensor has dried up. According to Matt at Patchman Bill Bernardi will fix it but for about US$750. That's a lot more than I paid for it in the first place. Ive heard that the sensor material is hard to find, I wish I knew what it was so I could find it and try yo repair it myself. Any suggestions?
I look forward to hanging around here. Feel free to drop by my own web project, www.ibrecker.com.

Yes, I enjoyed the Army band for the same reason you stated. Clarinet in concert band or Dixieland band. lead Alto and doubles in Big band. Whatever I wanted in the duty combo.
Took me awhile to buy all those horns after i got out. I know own piccolo, flute, alto flute, clarinet, bass clarinet. soprano, alto, tenor, bari sax, penny whistes and a few ethnic flute.
I won't even go into my modules keyboards and softsynths right now. Peace Bernie
Thanks for contacting me. My Lyricon works (except for the 'D' key which isn't working but I've docs to fix) although my ARP Axxe doesn't have VCA CV in. I'm going to build a PAIA VCA kit so I don't mod the Axxe for resale purposes.
WX7, my modules are M3R, TG100, TX81Z, SH32, XV2020, Nanosynth, MT32, CZ5000, and a DW8000. I'm a compulsive module buyer - didn't pay any more than $45 each for ANY of the modules except the M3R ($100) and the DW8000 (legacy synth I already owned) because people didn't have the right power supplies for them Or the Nanosynth, which was 'broke' but cost $40 to service.
I'm at the tail end of closing down my video business so I can play again. I'm VERY rusty - had to sell all my winds and EWIs to finance or keep the video business afloat - but am starting to play again.
I had the pleasure of performing with some of the Yahoo group's members at a midnight mass last Xmas (Emory Stegmer, Jordan Feldman and Tom Puwalski, all Marylanders), which was a delight for me. The quartet alternated between being a wind and brass quartet. These gents were a delight to play with! I'm also ex-Navy Band, and one of the few things I liked about the experience was 'doubling', where I'd be playing in a wind ensemble and doubling on SATB, flute, clarinet and bass clarinet. Lotta horns to carry, though!
Thanks agaion and I look forward to checking out what you've been doing - do you sell your CDs direct? I've been following the Yahoo group messages and I'm interested!
