Getting 4000S to work with Ableton Live (v.7)

I have the instrument connected (through MIDI IN/OUT) using M-Audio Uno MIDI USB interface to the laptop (Windows XP) and recognized, I can play software instruments in Live, right thumb pitch bend plates work, so does bite sensor, but breath control has no effect on volume and glide rail does nothing (the latter not that important)
I am new to Live, and MIDI - has anyone got any experience with getting the breath sensor to work in Live? Any help would be much appreciated...
